"Oh, boy. I shouldn't have said that. I know you want me to tell you the story again. About how the Soul Reapers came to be. Well, hush now; I need to concentrate if you want me to remember all of it.
"As I have told you many times before, the ToriWorld is an old, old place. More great, giant empires have risen and fallen than fish have been pulled out of the sea. However, as proven time and time again: Size doesn't matter. This tale focuses on one, small little village: Shepar.
"Unfortunately, this small, peaceful village was plagued by one horrible thing: Thunderstorms. Dozens a month; all ten times as powerful as the one outside. Every single week another tree fell over a bridge, or another section of roof was torn off, or a house torn from it's foundation. It was pretty awful, until one day, the village priest found what was happening.
"He declared that the twin gods Hyperthomes and Syrenthos had cast a curse on the village as part of their mischief. The only way to stop the curse was to destroy their souls.
"Of course, this is a very, very difficult feat. To destroy a god's soul is to eradicate it from existence, leaving behind only people's memories of the god and its holy books. It was deemed impossible. That is, until one day, a monk named Verlyx spoke for the first time. He had uncovered an ancient method of eradicating powerful souls, called Soul Reaping, through meditation. He quickly developed a training regime, soon to be adopted by all of the village monks. It focused on developing your connection with the godly plane, while simultaneously strengthening your physical body and delving into dark magic. The combination of godly forces and black magic left many monks struggling for sanity, but even those who lost this battle kept their good intent and continued training. Soon, they reached a new level of magical humanity, and were able to defeat gods.
"The indescribable sensation of simultaneously feeling the unbearable pain of delving into the plane of Gods and the great pleasure of using Black Magic left behind a sense of morality unlike any other, even finding its way through the tangles of insanity that lay within the lost monks' minds. The group of monks soon found the mischievous twin gods and reaped their souls, freeing the village and many other lands throughout the world of their curses.
"Even to this day, the Soul Reapers are humanity's defense against evil spirits and gods. The sane and the insane formed their own packs, closely intertwined with eachother.

"The leader of the sane souls is Verlyx. The leader of those who have lost their sanity, yet kept their morality, is UkeAssassin. Both were the brave monks who combined their power to finish off the two evil gods. Perhaps you, little ones, have a future amongst them. Only time may tell."

Enforced Rules:

1. As far as reapers care, everyone else are the crazy ones.. Use common sense.
2. As movies and books show, murderous gentlemen are still gentlemen. Show common courtesy.
3. Assassins in them feel like they're on top of the world already. Don't ask for rankups, you'll get them when you deserve them.
4. Even a madman keeps up on the news, even if just to see if they're wanted yet. Check the clan thread regularly.

Unenforced Rules:

1. Assassins need their gear. Try to keep with the roleplay and have an insane or deadly tori.

(Reap)'s soul hunting event is a weekly fighting challenge exclusive to Soul Reapers members and our allies.

Some day of every week (or possibly multiple days per week), the clan discussion thread will have a description of some lost souls; or where they might be located. Your job is to locate these souls and capture them before anyone else does.

Descriptions work like this:

-Located in Public Taekkyon (Defeat someone in the public Taekkyon server and save the replay!)
-Has a custom head texture (Defeat someone with a custom head texture and save the replay!)
-Located at the end of this course (Complete this parkour map and save the replay! Maps will be very easy.)
-Summon the soul by doing __________ (Save a replay of you doing the stated action!)
-Has ____ force/relax/etc (Defeat someone using said item and save the replay!)

The first person to give in replays showing all of the above will receive ultimate bragging rights, as well as possibly a reward!
Even if your not first, or didn't complete all of the tasks, still send whatever you have in! These events go toward rank-ups, not to mention work to increase your Toribash skill. Happy hunting!
