I've got a head for uke, but how do i customize uke's body?. I want something purple on him as joints. But when i copy and paste the texture files into ukes folder nothing happens as he has still his default red-orange joints.

You need to copy and paste the data of any player that have textures
for joints too,you will need the data of any player with purple joints.

You have to edit uke's item.dat, this tutorial has every information necessary.
ctrl+f should help you finding colors

You can dl me and use my custom folder and set it to uke, and use .tga image files as well.

Wow, That was so stupid playing with the game data, you can just /dl [name] and /lp 1 .

No, it's not. Can he customize however he wants my doing /dl and /lp?
Just because you think somenthing is not so easy/can't do, doesn't make it stupid.
