When I open the game, a part of the window is cut off of the screen. I can't change how it opens and I've tried re-downloading it a few times, restarting my computer, and restarting the game.

Hehe I also have that problem sometimes.
But my mouse isn`t in sinc with the game so it`s ingame further up than i actually see it.
So i go into the advanced option menu and spam the mouse so there is a small chance that i hit the fullscreen option D
What a boring story ..... but it`s fun

You can try to manually set up the resolution so it matches your screen by opening custom.cfg with a text editor in the root folder of the install directory and editing these two attributes: width "{screen width here}" height "{screen height here}".

If you save that, the next time you restart toribash you'll get the application in the given resolution.
