The thicker the border, the less you can see the edges. I think what you want is to be able to see borders perfeclty right? I like more the current one if its what your looking for

I am going on the right direction? Just wips (I didnt know if you want the creature itself or with the girl)(I can add the girl by herself on the avvy)

That character is fine for the sig. I think if the background could have a little more contrast (darker) but still have luminescence about the figure. The effects are fine ^^

I am thinking the girl gently silhouetted by the robot for the avvy

Here I have two darker versions, note that second one is the darkest. You might tell they are the same but one is 10% darker than the other
