com wutch me rehplai
I'm a new replayer and I just want some CnC and tips.
This also will be my replay showcase thread.

Description of replays-

Butcher's Knife
Just a double backwards fall kick (I'm not very good with the real names of the trick) that splits Uke in half.

Merry-go-round
I used a boxshu opener here for a heli-kick, this was inspired by the discipline v2 replay. Just a decap replay.

Splinter
REALLY LIKE SELF-DMS AND NO FLUIDITY WHATSOEVER? DOWNLOAD THIS REPLAY!!!!!!!!!!111!!!

Onehit
My first replay, was inspired by hampa's headkick.

Butcher's Knife-
Opener had a lot of potential.
Nice double flat speed.
Lacks speed.

Merry go round-
Stupid opener.
Spin was awesome. Too bad you lost it though.
Transitions were done pretty slow and kinda bad.
Try not to contract the ankles too much.
Slow decap.

Splinter-
You get your body split, and kinda followed with an idea from a replay
in the default.
Uninteresting Decap.

Onehit-
Waste of time.
Decap was fine.
Leave me alone, leave him alone.
I make replays.
Thanks! As for the merry-go-round opener, it was a boxshu opener.
I will improve the replays if I get the chance.

This is a madman replay that's not quite finished yet, but I'm posting it cause I don't think I'll ever finish it.

cnc pls

Info-
I used an opener from my Onehit replay, and it's got faster and better dm's than my other's. Maybe if I do finish this one I'll add a skeet.

Hey, here's another replay. It's not my best, but I was trying to improve on Merry-go-round.

Also, any other critics gonna give CnC? I really want tips to improve.

The downloads are broken. Give us a link to Speedyshare or something

They are still broken. Speedyshare is super easy to use. It shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, that's fine.

Discipline was alright. It had a nice spin and you kept it smooth during the opener.
Sadly, the dms ruined it. You need to remember that it's not about the fact that you got dms, but rather the way you got them. Your legs were stiff and it was obvious you were desperate about getting that decap as you didn't move anything else in your body during that time.

Slice n' Dice wasn't as good. You didn't have alot of control over your body and you just went with whatever opportunity you could get to add dms. there was potential behind that scissor kick to separate the legs but you were lazy and proceeded by only separating a single hip, leaving the viewer unstatisfied with the result. I think it would have been better if you went for the torso. You could get some seriously awesome looking booms from there.

It's obvious that you're new to replaymaking. The learning curve for this game may be slow, but remember to listen to the advice given to you. There's a degree of potential behind you but you ruin it by rushing through your replays, not caring about the opportunities lying behind what you do. Keep it up. I'd enjoy seeing you become better and better with time.

I think that your main problem right now is effort.
Effort is spending more than an hour on a replay.
Effort is thinking of the most suitable next move you're capable of.
Effort is literally trying to KNOW and LEARN on what to do next.

Effort is wasting hours and hours knowing how to actually do things in the game.

And I can clearly see you're a mushu/boxshu/wushu imbued player.
Try doing some spars or any mods that has high gravity.
They make you learn control faster. Try at least doing 3 spars a day, with better players if possible or someone your level.
A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.
