more info is required for a productive response.
food and exercise help with sadness. sunshine is really good too. try going for a solitary walk through a forest or some place like that you can easily get to.
you could also buy some 5-htp if it's legal where you live, it will make you somewhat happier as it is a precursor to serotonin. if it's not legal eat plenty of turkey. multivitamins are pretty good too.
avoid any drugs with comedowns or hangovers.(alcohol included)
