This is an idea that I thought about while playing in a casual custom game in Halo: Reach.

I don't know what to call it.

So, the general thing would be to have full lobby of people interacting with each other with their Toris at the same time.

Imagine a large dojo, around the dojo there are various other dojos. These dojos each have different properties from one another. In the center dojo, everything goes, you can set your own gravity and turn frames and so on. The outer dojos are different, like I said, I'm not sure how it would work specifically, but each dojo would have a specific setting, and everyone within the dojo would be forced to play with them. As soon as they entered their settings would be changed to match that of the dojo.

I'll draw a picture with some examples:

Let me explain the free-play dojo. I say dojo, but it's not really a dojo, more like a series of them.
It would be a lobby where either you could select to make a replay or you could select to view a replay being made. This is so that the people spectating could watch what they want, instead of a live-stream, lets say, where the viewer is forced into the streamer's perspective. Also just hanging out while replay making.

This is not a suggestion. It's an idea that I wanted to get out in the open. Feel free to express opinions.

Also, a way to change the title of a thread you created after posting it, because I forgot to change the title to the name of this idea after I posted it, now I can't change it.

dislaimer : I'm not sure understood you 100%, but I'll reply to what I think you meant. If I'm wrong, I apologize.

That's pretty much impossible for a couple of reasons :

1) While, yes, more than two tori fights were implemented in an earlier patch (3.27 if im not mistaken), it's currently not supported, and even if it was...

2) Rules are global. I don't believe it's possible to have them set differently depending on where you are, (I'm not sure even the devs could change that without some enormous work )

That would be hella nice tho. Being able to spectate people playing in SP is a fantastic idea. I'd love to see it implemented in the future.
Hampa said, that if he will be adding support for multi tori, he won't just go with 3 or 4, in some thread(i really dont care engouh to go lookin for it) he said, that when he does add that, he will go all out, like 32 players. I think the current engine that tori is running on is very limited and i am not sure if that is possible really, without a tremendous ammount of work, that the current developer team(wich is really low in numbers) cannot handle.
Also, im pretty sure, that loading mods in specific areas is literally impossible to do in current TB.

it would be laggy as fuck for PCs with low graphics.

With the current graphics engine, it sure would. I think there needs to be a sequel to toribash, in another graphics engine, im sure hampa did not think that this game would get so BIG when he selected this engine.
Well maybe its time for an upgrade. The potential that this game has when it comes to fighting in general is amazing. The idea its based around isn't entirely cutting edge and new but the take on said idea is like no other game I have ever played. If they play their cards right it could very well become the next big thing. I know that the main reason that we are being held back in development is, for starters the whole team is comprised of unpaid volunteers who, although devoted to the game, are not entirely "bound" to it, next is because since this game is "free to play" money is not on a constant flow as is with other games. If anything as big as an engine update were to be brought about it would likely be due to a change in the way funds are gained.

i think that would be a great idea
but the problem is people pc's wont handle it with this tori system thing
i still wondering about that coz when i play warframe or something have higher requires than tb it work verry well but tb goes slow af when i set a big mod
just imagine how slow tb is gonna work with this.
well if the slowmo problem can be resolved i'd like to see this idea atleast as a beta ver
How about a curtain feature for people who can't handle it. Each room is concealed by a 'curtain' unless you enter it, effectively eliminating the processing power needed. This would have to make people load the room again before entering it, but that's what we do already, and it's not slow at all.

For the people saying that it's laggy:

Not everyone has to use this. I think that it would be a completely separate thing, not forced upon everyone.
