Whenever I type a message in the Toribash chat and press enter, I can't see the message I typed, but everyone else seems to be able to. Commands still work too.
Why is this, and how do I fix it?

is it only your messages? Can you see everyone else's messages?

Yes, I can see everyone else's messages, just not mine.

did you try the obvious stuff? e.g restarting toribash and your pc

Not to have this post again. I have same problem. Restarted PC and game nothing worked.

Delete both custom.cfg and default.cfg from your toribash folder.

Also, please read the board rules in the future!
