Update the Forum
basically update the language we use

we use v3.8.2

can we upgrade to 5.2.1 or something?

will that ruin stuff or something?

v3 versions are easier to use and much more stable. (the newer versions aren't all that great tbh. vBulletin as a brand has not been 100% recently either.)

Also, upgrading would likely cause many issues with the amount of things that have been developed/merged.
