Okay, so I saw that a lot of people were getting into this trend where they dress up as clowns and try to look creepy. There has been a lot of trends in the past and this trend popped off quick.

In my opinion, trends must have a good reason like where you raise awareness of something. Trends must NOT be dumb because kids nowadays are exposed to social media; The kids might imitate what they see on social media. I've noticed some little girls dressing up like sluts, sorry for the word. I once saw a girl who wore short shorts, teased by a guy who called her a "slut", and she was all like "you dont respect girls? you dont respect your girlfriend?" and all that crap.

Anyways, we are talking about the "Creepy Clown Craze". I think its a dumb trend that WILL get people arrested or killed.

I honestly think this trend is one of the stupidest trends I've seen. I know a few people have already gotten hurt because the people they tried to scare just beat the crap out of them. Its not even funny what so ever. I really hope this ends soon, the fact that it's getting more popular is... mind boggling to me because on what planet is dressing up as a creepy clown and scaring people a good or funny idea.

I've seen reports of these creepy clown waiting outside people's houses, or chasing them home and then standing at the front door for hours. I completely agree with you Karstnator, soon someone will get very badly hurt or arrested. I'm just hoping if that does happen, it ends this dumb trend.

lol. I'm 27 and all the trends I've seen coming and going around me were either dumb or ugly as fuck, and 100% useless. I'm pretty sure you could ask anyone at any stage of his life, he'll eventually tell you the same thing : trends are inherently stupid. If "a trend" wasn't stupid, we would have started doing it a long time ago, and wouldn't have stopped doing it.

America seems to have a clown problem. Including Australia now apparently. The trend is stupid as fuck. But you know, the lols are huge. They've been apparently luring kids into the woods and shit.
It doesn't help that people are using "Clown Attacks" as excuses for being late to work too. It just induces panic.

To be honest, if you are stupid enough to go walking around scaring people in a clown costume after seeing all the shit that's going on with people getting killed for it, you deserve whatever comes to you, whether it be cops, or some kids shooting you. You would think people would have some common sense smh.

What if some use this clown trend as an advantage to commit various crimes such as posing as a "good clown" to abduct children, posing as a clown to murder someone, etc.

What if some people think like that? If their plan does not go well, they could always say its a prank, some will believe and some wont believe its a prank.
