Fellow 3d modeler here. Did you use a torus for the rope? twisted torus knots like that look cool, but there's other ways to make twists/ropes. Here's one way.

The physics at which the melon is at
does not make much since, as if the rope was
positioned at the back the melon would lean forward a bit.
Also the melon when being almost squished looks very unreal.
It looks like you kinda photo shopped a piece of rope around a bad cutout of a melon.
