instead of having to go to quick links or whatever the fuck, why not have it on the home page forum?

My opinion is that this function wouldn't really be useful as the user control panel does exactly this, plus it shows you subscribed forums, social groups, infractions and new pm's as well. I'd like to call it your personalized fraction of the forum. If I want to read some other parts of the forum after reading my user CP (which I have bookmarked) all it takes for me to switch to the forum is just one click. I wouldn't like it if the top of the main page of the forums was cluttered up with threads I'm still interested in to read later.
