To get ub3r or a higher custom title, you have to post more.
Not spam more, that will result in a ban.

To get a custom user title, like flaming samurai, you have to buy Prime, which costs 10$.

Some titles you'll gain after making a certain number of posts.
After making 25 posts, you'll get the title "member" (as you do right now).
After making 500 posts, you'll get the title "senior member".
After making 1,500 posts, you'll get the title "ub3r".

Other titles in the normal font are usually Prime titles - you'll need to subscribe to the Toribash-Prime in order to give yourself one (you can change it at any time).

Other titles, ie ones involving coloured text or a different font, have to be set by an admin.

In addition to this it was possible to have colored, bold, italic, underlined, or scrolling custom titles. Some people had pictures in their custom titles.

Long time ago veb had a custom title shop, I do not know if it is still possible to get a custom title like that.

Isn't possible to add images or non-standard text via the Toribash-Prime. HTML is disabled for regular users, so only admins can apply additional effects to usertitles.

Mind you, if you can get one to make one for you, a lot can be done.
