My first texture (Including Joints)
Alright, so... I got the idea for this while just messing around.
And I decided to try my best to have everything connect.
Which was pretty difficult around the lumbar for example.

Software: Paint tool Sai

I know it is a very low resolution, for my first time doing this I thought I should stay with a resolution of 128x128.

Alright, I hope I'm doing this correctly

How I see it; You basically made every joint texture the same, you didn't try to do anything else than just copying and pasting on every joint.

You should make some difference, but if you're working with the "connection" between different joints, it do look pretty okey. Keep up

If with the same you mean the same horizontal pattern coming back on every texture, yea all of them are very similar.

But all joints are different, if you'd switch some random joint textures I'd look horrible.
( I accidently switched some joints around by saving one pair under the wrong name. I had to do a lot of work over..)

Anyway, Thank you very much for your feedback. ^-^
I definitely focused more on the connection between textures then on making each piece very distinct on its own.
looks very mirrored and repetitive, boring
The past makes you wanna die out of regret, and future makes you depressed out of anxiety. So by elimination, the present is likely the happiest time.
He pretty much means copy pasted and all of it is just really blue lines, you need to add different colours and different styles

Hey guys, I need your help

I see... I Suppose it looks copy pasted because of the repeating patterns I used...
I actually did not copy paste much at all, only the dashes in the middle blue line to keep the pattern going properly.

In the end this turned out as more of an experiment to create good interconnectivity, and not so much a good texture. :/

hmmm...Do not make texture set with many thing are similar each other.

yours Texture Set had many similar texture style/stroke,
so it's pretty Ugly by me

Alright, I see.
I honestly didn't know repeating patterns, no matter if they connect, aren't seen as a good texture.
I'll keep that in mind from now on and will focus on less.. abstract design I suppose. xD

Thank you for the feedback. ^-^
Thank you. ^-^
It is my first texture, ever. So I definitely expected to have to improve and change a lot of things.

What would you suggest for it to look more complicated?
To simplify the statement, lets say I keep the pattern theme. Would I have to add more colours, more standard patterns, an unique pattern per single texture?

Because if I add too much, you might not be able to see what is going on and I risk making it look like a mess.

If you could elaborate a tad bit more I'd really appreciate it. Because I currently don't quite know what I should really change to improve it. And what people are looking for in a texture.
Outside of that what I currently have is too repetitive.
