Ight so i was setting up a party tent with my dad and my brothers and i hammered in one of the metal stakes and went to walk to another one and my shin got a cut on the edge of the stake. Its not deep and its only about an inch or so long, but tent stakes go in the ground and they are a little rusty, but not much. I cleaned it with peroxide and then put antibiotic ointment on it, but my last tetanus shot was back in 2011, should i be worried? Idk im kinda sketched out. Does anyone have any experience with tetanus? Should i go get a tetanus shot or check with a doctor? Im not fixing to die in a month from a tent stake.

probably not since tetanus shots last for around 10 years and you cleaned it

My best opinion would to not go to the Toribash forums for any type of medical advice since very very very few of us are licensed medical professionals. Seriously, go to a doctor and see if you're alright; you shouldn't be waiting until you need your foot chopped off to go.
