Windows protects users and programs from doing some extremely dumb things.
In case of Stand-alone: Right-click the shortcut on your desktop to Run as Administrator. (every time, or just adjust the Properties of the shortcut to always start as administrator. It will still ask for confirmation each time)
I don't know why you need it, because it doesn't work for daily login rewards....
In case of Steam-client: Run steam As Administrator. The shortcuts of steamgames cannot be "Run as Administrator" themselves, so you must run Steam as administrator the same way as the shortcut in the previous example.
If you had successfully removed the desired properties you would have ran unnecessary risk(s); while running it as admin (and only when you want to run it) ignores those settings completely (during the elevated privileges).
