It is well known that it is good to know your rankings, back when rankings where global, if you were very highly ranked globally (>1000) it showed you spent a lot of time played and your dedication paid off. While I do like the seasonal rankings, they don't feel much rewarding to be at the top as the old rankings. Some new global rankings like TC Rankings, QI Rankings, even Item Count Rankings would be very entertaining to see, as in all of this information is already stored within the forums, just not displayed in a rankings format, it would not be too difficult to add it. It would be very cool to see where in each list you would be, and encourage people to play more, increase the value of items and the quest for TC, good all around

Some small additional gratification would be useful.
Some kind of distinction for the person who currently occupies the first place in the ranking.

Example:
The richest (at the given moment) player in the game would have a small icon displayed next to his profile or something like that.
It could be an icon in the game displayed next to the username, or an icon displayed somewhere under the profile picture on the forum, or both.

Examples of icons/pixel arts:
- gold bar (tc ranking)
- coin tree (tc ranking)
- golden tooth (tc ranking)

- laurel wreath (qi ranking)

...you get the idea .

I agree. Especially the TC ranking. Beats me how we never had one in the first place
