Just a little thought, wanted to see what sort of support it would generate. In my opinion the game has become less enjoyable since 3.0(?). This was when all features became free to all. Perhaps more profitable and more active but definitely less enjoyable.

My idea is to have a private members area in which you have to pay a fee to join. Similar to before except the free area has the same features. The private members would have their own forum space and servers.

It makes me sad to see the good members which have left this game because of 3.0. The forums became diluted and the togetherness of older members were weakened.

So my proposal is a private members suite. Thoughts on this please toribash community.

You'll just get told to set up your own private forum & password your servers like all the others who've suggested this.

well, it does sound elitist, and is in a way, but I'm completely OK with some people paying to keep me from not having to pay more than I already have (I paid for reg earlier) when the community is growing.

I do have to agree, though, there are a lot of annoying noobs out there, and hideous replays are polluting the game forum, no matter how many of them you tell that symmetry is indeed not cool, be it nicely or harshly.

I'm not bothered enough to pay for it, but why the heck not? if someone wants to pay for it, it'd be easy money for nabi, which, for the players of their game, is good.

You won't get there even if someone will realize your crazy idea, plebeian. Making oldschoolers ruling class will cause complains of newbs.

Maybe oldies can get their own servers that you can gain tc in so people who have paid don't have to sit in over crowded servers to gain little tc per win. :>

If the powers that be set this up, they would make more profit. As well as making the game more enjoyable for those who pay towards toribash, thus keeping their loyalty and ultimately money spending. Win win situation in my opinion. And it's not ab out those who have the most money. It's about those who are willing to spend. Even if you had the money, you would not pay for the private suite unless you genuinely enjoyed the game and the community to the extent that you would want to pay. But in general, the ones who love this game the most are the ones who pay the most. A noob would not pay to join the members suite if he could get all the same features apart from good community for free.
