The Clash, the Jam, Sex Pistols, and the Ramones are all great. The Clash are the best Punk band of all time (the "only band that matters" phrase comes to mind), and high in the running for best alternative band of all time as well.

Youre missing much if u only listen to the "mainstream" 77 bands.
