Do you know what sucks about toribash?
Is that you cant rotate anything either than lumbar and chest. I mean if your going for a jab-right cross combination, you just... you simply cant. Like if you have your pecs contracted and lower shoulders and contracted elbows, you cant extend the elbow to go straight. your arm just goes down. You need to raise shoulder the other way, not just up. That my friends is what sucks about TB.
Then raise your shoulder to punch.
How do you expect to punch by lowering your shoulder and extending your elbow?
No one does that in real life, why would it work like that in tori?

because if u raise ur damn shoulder, ur whole shoulder raises and if you extend, you end up with a move like you are going to stab a guy right beside you.
then if you do, your shoulder will raise in the air like a chicken, and if you extend your elbow, then its like swiping a credit card.
Another thing is that you can't rotate your ankles and wrists.
That would be better if you could.
Oh and if you could rotate your head.
That would be pretty cool.
Anyway.
Nice thing to bring up.
If you change it now then it'll mess up all the replays and we would be playing like white belts. So it's good it's like this. Besides, the way the Tori's are, are much more simple and easier to learn, even though twisting your limbs have more variety.
It makes me wonder..
Punching straight is not that hard. You have to mess about with relax/hold joints to setup punches.
