Quite rarely do companies make games that are solely MMOFPS styled (popular example- counterstrike) so, it's rather hard finding these little gems for computers or consoles. Discuss/list any cool MMOFPS games you know of that are either already released or due for release.

One particularly orgasmic-looking one that caught my attention was M.A.G, or Massive Action Game, which will be released for PS3 late 2009. As if Resistance 2's 30 on 30 battles weren't enough, the battles in MAG will feature 256 players. Individually controlled through FPS styled gaming, not RTS :P Hell yeah?

I know alot of MMOFPS's

CS:S and GarrysMod and Soldat and Call of Duty also.

He has already named CS And I bet he knows about the expansions then.
GarrysMod isn't really an FPS its more of a Sandbox game.
CoD Is pretty good , but in my opinion , WaW Sucks terribly.

Garrys mod is in first person, and you have guns to shoot.

Soldat is 2-D, and I have it... but it's not an FPS, it's a side-scrolling shooter. And GMOD isn't an MMOFPS, it's just a MMO-sandbox styled game.

MMOFPSes generally have 64 or more players per server. CS:S and DoD:S aren't under the category. Stuff like Huxley (which'll probably suck) and to a extent Battlefield 2 are considered MMOFPS.

If you want some realistic ones...

Red Orchestra - You don't even know who is on your team have to identify by the uniforms. Very realistic

WW2 Online - you have a squad it is like a real war you get sent to battle you train you need to learn how to use stick shift trucks and how to fly. You don't know if you killed someone during war. Half scale model you Europe.

Well, anything where the main focus is an online mode, like CS, and is an FPS would count as an MMOFPS IMO. Something where there's a single player campaign and huge online battles, like Resistance 2 or something, is more of just an FPS.
