Get wine from their site, there's a tutorial for installing it, yes you must use google now. Then download the toribash windows version from toribash.com in ur desktop and right-click and select "open with wine..." and install in the default install directory. It will create a launcher in the desktop which works just like it would in windows.

The othr way would be to add the toribash linux version's repository from toribash.com and install it "the linux way" but they haven't released updates for the linux versioj in a long time.

Repoet possible problems here, I'll answer as I get home.

hm... first of all. DON'T use wine with this game, it will give too many errors. Already does in linux version. Try .tar version, bttr than repositories.

Instalatin form:

Download .tar 3.5 version. un.. tar? it, open with konsole.

repo version: sudo apt-get install toribash (konsole) Y to all.
Find it in K menu. (repo version dsnt support textured items) more information, search button =)

zrry 4 bad english.
Dude, don't come telling people how to do it if you don't know yourself either.
Wine doesn't give any errors if you have it configured right. 3.7 works on it quite well, a bit faster than it would on windows.

As of 3.5 linux version, the repository version for ubuntu is way better than the .tar.gz -version, since the idea of the repository is that when it updates, you will automatically have the updated version. At least you should, if it ever will be updated :F

What wine errors do you get? Have you checked winehq's application database for a solution?

hum... yea, ok, its nice to know my knowledge is soo wrong, :S strange thing is, i actually use kubuntu 8.10, do u? .tar version is far more stable, u can ask any stuff man, or whatever.

I didnt try 3.7 in wine. 3.69 wont work. " X error"
repositories update... well yea, that doesnt mean the update is the lastest...

I just give some advice, u can take it, or not, ur choice...
The repo version has a major file access problem with textures etc that requires manual fixing.

As for Wine, the performance is hardware dependant and TB can either run great, terribly or just crashes. If it's gong to work via Wine it'll run on the default settings, there's no need to change things.

My final not on Linux is possible problems with the 64 bit version of TB - once again it's hardware dependant, but shader problems are very common.

IF you don't mind fixing the problems with the .deb repo version then use that, if not just get the .tar.gz

<Erf> SkulFuk: gf just made a toilet sniffing joke at me
<Erf> i think
<Erf> i think i hate you
Got it
Heyy ermm thanks for everything but i got it now. . . And another problem is I can't see texture and the shaders are making the window hang. And thanks again for everything.
