In like an hour i will be going into surgery(I have an abcess). An abcess is a lump of infection somewhere on your body. What they are going to do is cut it open and drain it while I'm awake on loopy medicine and numb stuff(they are going to take the needle and stick it right into the abcess, this is going to hurt bad!!) which is on my right jaw. The reason for me being scared is if the medicine fails to make me loopy or numb the abcess and this is my first time doing surgery. So guys try to say something to help me not be scared.

Lucky. You get medicine that makes you loopy.

Don't worry, it wont hurt. You will be numb from the medicine.

Also, you have a 100% chance of living since you will be awake (some people die from being put to sleep)

I remember laughing gas for extensive dental work. Fun stuff.
