HTOTM: FUSION
Original Post
Phun isn't free anymore D:
Most of the people I ask know what phun is... but anyway, the awesome physics sandbox made by emilk has now been sold out to a big company, and to get the full features you must buy, buy, buy.

if you don't know what phun is, google it.

Vid of all the things not in the free phun:

Ok, there is a new release of phun, but there are no lasers, and no cropping by alpha of images (I really need that ). The company that bought phun and renamed it "algadoo" is called Algoryx.
Um, actually, here's how it is:

currently, there is a download for a free phun. It is in fact a lot better, and it does have a cut tool and magnets and CSG operations. But if you want the best features, you have to pay, and so I'm just bummed that it's now more of a demo. But I do suggest you get 5.25, because it is much better than 4.22. Just not as good as the expensive version.
That sucks...i downloaded Phun 6-7 days ago trough,so i have it D:
But the Algodoo have more realistic water and cutting D:

ALSO the rocked part made me cry,why did they fucking sold it !? whyyyy ?!
Centuries Of Damn

Oh, actually:

Taken from the announcement page, the following are the downloads for the free version 5.25 (has at least cutting, CSG, Image textures, and attractors):

Windows installer - recommended for Windows XP and earlier - just install and run!
Windows zip archive - recommended for Windows Vista - extract to a directory with write access (such as My Documents or the desktop)
Linux 32 tgz archive
Linux 64 tgz archive - EDIT: fixed package - cutting should now work fine
Mac OS X - Installation: Double click the downloaded file to mount it. Open the mounted disk image (found on your desktop) and copy the Phun folder to your Applications directory.

This is still free, you don't have to cry. But for even more features like lasers, you need to buy it. These downloads do have cutting and the realistic water and image textures. But no image alpha autocrop or lasers and way shorter looking menus than the vid..

Open up options, turn on advanced mode, go to the rendering panel, and turn on everything but 16-bit textures.

Space junk planets are fun. :P

Oh, hey, I just noticed that you can now create shapes with actual holes inside of them, instead of having to use two parts fixated or one shape with a slight seam.
