Transparent Textures
Okay, so I have looked at every texture tutorial I could find (spent hours yesterday) and I tried everything I found, no matter how similar to another, and could not actually get the textures I wanted to do transparent where there was not any art... I am using GIMP on Mac OSX Tiger, and was wondering if someone could either A) Walk me through it in instant messenger or through the toribash chat in a custom room, or B) let me send them the files and see if they would do it for me...
do you use shaders, or not?
if you don't use shaders then transparency doesn't work.
if you do have shaders and it still won't work, explain, do you want the textures to just be transparent or do you want certain parts transparent?

Okay, you explained it. lol. I don't know why I didn't think of that. Sadly my mac's video card doesn't allow for shaders >.<'
