I'm sure this question has been asked several times before, but since I cannot find any such topic I'll have to ask it again...

In what ways can you make substantial amounts of ToriCredits ASIDE from winning matches at 10TC a pop, and WITHOUT spending real money for them?

Well you can enter tourneys but that is pretty much a gamble.Sell art and inventory, that is what most people do.

Well I can't really send Inventory, I have roughly 3k ToriCredits from winning and dumping old accounts into this one. Most of the Inventory that people wanna buy are things above Orc, Glad, Chronos, Aqua, and Marine.

But explain to me how to sell art and other methods...

Anyway, the only possible things that I'm aware of that can get you TC:

1) Buy toricredits and boosters - costs real life money, but probably the most effective way. You also get a lot of free promo items to sell for TC.

2) Win tourneys - the promobot will advertise them every once in a while. Sometimes you don't even need any real skill to win them, just luck will do.

3) Make and sell art - textures, signatures, avatars, custom toribash menus, whatever. Make them and sell them.

4) Of course win games in official servers, but that really doesn't get you any real money.

5) Buy items cheap and sell them to get profit - Haven't really tried this one in Toribash and I'm not sure how effective it can be.

6) Check out the events board, people makes competitions there. Usually replay competitions, like you have to make a good decap etc. Sometimes it's just creative stuff. Prizes can be pretty big there.

I believe theres is an increased tc earnage for this weekend, stated by veb earlier.
Not sure though.

Well, I don't know how to really make textures or avatars and all that stuff. I can download GIMP, but all these tutorials are for Photoshop...

I know boosters are useful but I mean there must be some kind of effective method for making TC in this game aside from just winning matches.

Tourneys are very rare...and when hosted, usually have 50-100 people competing in them.

The buy items thing might be good but I dont have enough money to really buy any full sets other than Orc, Chronos, Gladiator, and maybe Marine/Aqua, which aren't really in demand...

you never play ingame do you? first of all toruneys usually 20-32 people and just buy a booster if you Really need money

You'll just have to work a lot on graphics, eventually you will get better at it. Unless you are completely talentless. Like me.

Aside from what i listed, there is NO other way.

Tourneys aren't rare - Slipanc alone usually hosts like 3 a day. And usually there are max 22 or something people in it. NEVER 100.

Kronoslord, I play in-game a lot, hence the fact that I reached rank 18,000 in about a week. From my previous experiences in tourneys, there are a TON of people, I entered one tourney that had 225people in the room.

Magix, does Slipanc use the PromoBot? Cus I saw maybe 2 tourney announcements so far this weekend. And as for the art thing, do you know any ways to make abstract art in GIMP while using an image from deviantart or watnot. If not, can you refer me to a thread that has a good tutorial for GIMP users?
