How to make animated avatars

How to make a head texture spin in gimp. Go to Filters, Animation, Spinning Globe. Then save it as a gif.

I knew how to do it, but I'm suggesting it for others who don't know how.

edit - i can get it to like be on the head but no idea on spinning
