i wanna know how to sell head textures and stuff so i can make money like i make a head texture and i wanna put it in my shop how do i do that?

GIMP is a free to download software which can be used to make images.For a head texture display there is a globe tool that shows the spinny.Upload it on some site & link it on the forums.

google & download GIMP to make textures
PS is another paid option.

Basically, first of all, they create the textures (with GIMP, Photoshop or whatever). They put it on a "test player", they take a screenshot, & they post it on the forum.

To post an image is actually easy. It works with the Spinning Globe .gif made in Gimp, and also with just the image. I'll explain using Gimp, because it's easiest

1. Download Gimp

2. Make a texture, either use a template, or whatever, but the size is 128x128 PIXELS


3. Save Image

A.Saving as Picture
-Just hit File>Save As> Name (Most of the images on toribash use the .tga format. So just save it as head.tga. If your texture has transparency, you need .tga, other wise you could aslo use .jpg or any format you wish.I believe this is easy, so there wont be a pic.
B. Saving as Spinning Globe.
-Go to Filter>Animation>Spinning Globe.


-A dialouge box will open, set the frames to whatever you like, but the best would probobly be 15-20 for a smooth spin.



-Then after its done loading(the bar stops moving) Go to Filter>Playback(Something like that, has a green play arrow next to it)



You should be able to see your head spinning "like a globe". Now, if you want to save the globe and post it.

-Save it as a .gif > then check off Animation.




4. Make sure you remember where you saved your files.

5. Go to an uploading site, I prefer Imageshack.uswww.imageshack.us This site is very easy to use and understand. For this, I will use Image Shack:

6.Once on the Website, Browse for the head, or spinning globe.


7.After you Find it, Click "Start Upload"

8. Once the file is uploaded, get the "Direct Link", and copy that.


9.Go to the Place on the toribash forums that you would like to post it, and find this Icon:


10.Paste URL into the dialouge, and Voila, Your image should be Viewable.


For Selling Textures in Shops:
1.You Post the Texture (see Above)
-You should use the Spinning Globe, otherwise people could just steal them.
2.Someone wants to buy the texture.
3. They send the tc(whatever your price is)
4. You send them the picture of the texture, (Not the Spinning Globe) so they can use it as they want.
5. Edit the shop, and write sold under that texture, because you sold it, and you can't sell it again.


Tips:
-Dont paste the image of your head, post it as a Spinning Globe so others cant steal it.
-Toribash Allows transparency, to use it, you MUST(as far as I'm concerned) use .tga as your filetype.
