I can't believe this thread wasn't made already. Flogging Molly is easily one of my top 5 favorite bands. I love the instruments. I don't usually hear these type of instruments.

Flogging Molly is a great band. They have a pretty original style of irsih rock, using distorted guitar, flute, and fiddle with other instruments. Their drummer is pretty crazy, like his beats are pretty fast, even if they are easy. I personally love them.

Swagger, Drunken Lullabies and Witihn a mile of home are good albums, but Float kinda sucks.

IMO Pogues and Dubliners are far superior to Flogging Molly in folky songs.
And Dropkick Murphys are better in punky songs.
But I still like Flogging Molly.

its probably because they're not that well known.

i really like their music though

i love their style...theyre probably in my top 10 [i listen to tons of different music though]

Not my favorite, but still good. I saw them live once too. :P
