I haven't read the story in forever, but to all the people who haven't it's about a salesman who wakes up to find that he's a cockroach/Giant Insect. His family is appalled of this. His sister takes care of him and gives him food. The family all gets jobs to replace Gregor's paycheck that he was bringing into the house and they realize they don't need him. And now they just want to get rid of him even his sister. In the end he dies and they just forget about it.

Fucking awesome.
