That's right. After buying the .inc from Slain, I have decided to open a shop. Prices are high, because of the awesomeness of the .inc, the price I paid for it, the debts I'm in, and because it takes forever to render.


1 .pov render. 1 scene, no animation. No modifications to the .inc.

640x480 - 500 credits and up, depending on how long it takes.

800x600 - 750 credits and up.

1024x768 - 1000 credits.

1280x1024 - 2000 credits (bigger jump due to more than doubling of rendering times)


Animations

Price depending on resolution, time it takes, and number of frames.

Examples:

320x240 - 500 frames - 20,000 credits

640x480 - 500 frames - 45,000 credits.



Probably will not take items, however you could give it a shot.

Animations are so expensive because on single frame takes 10 hours to render. Sooo...mmkay, no.

Think 6 hours per frame, 500 frames. Yeah. You get the point. I am willing to record animations, but it takes LONG, and I have to leave my computer running for a few nights. And I'd rather not unless for a humongous price. Also, adding new examples.

You sure you cant slightly modify certain aspects of the inc. that dont matter that much, for different quality options (especially animations) ?

But I have. I've just been paid 180k (another 20k when I'm done) to make an animation. It's going to be hell for my computer, but hey, I won't be doing anything other than coding for a while even so.

So yeah. I'd like him to post here for officialisation and stuff. With the .rpl attached also.

well,i'd say its not really spectacular a' shop you got,anyways.people are paying 90% for time and roughly 10% for quality :/
anyways,good luck,as there only few people that would spend so much on an animation when someone can make something close to it for free :/

Also, this is not about the animations. -_- you can buy single renders for a real small price.

Well, I wouldnt buy one because the wooden stand and stone floor textures still dont look that good ( although texturing is a nice extra )


Uhh.. no. Most people dont have that many credits and i doubt they would use most of theirs on one render or such.

I recommend you tweak the inc. for smaller render times and lower the prices, maybe that will get you customers.
